Deputy President WIlliam Ruto was earlier today booed at by his audience. This happened at the Bomas of Kenya during the launch of the BBI report.
William Ruto while giving his speech addressed the youth representative Alex Matere who had dismissed Ruto’s wheelbarrow initiative.The vice president who identifies as a hustler has been giving wheelbarrows and mkokoteni to the youths.
However, the youth representative referred to the initiative as old and passed by time. (16th century invention) But Ruto was quick to note that even though the wheelbarrow is an old century invention, it is still worthy and helpful. As a result, millions of people need it and that is a discussion they need to have.
The DP said that he will go on with the initiative since it affects so many people. And it is at that point the audience broke into a unison booing. Millicent Odhiambo among others could be seen mouthing and shouting respect the president!
Ruto who is opposing the BBI went ahead to point out several issues that need to be looked into. Because he feels that some of the BBI issues do not mean well for the fellow Kenyans.
The DP went ahead to not that the participation of women should be enhanced and not downgraded.
This man is a genius! If youths listen to him they’ll go places!
